Best tracking app I have used. Bad: Frustrating that some activities don't get synced and as a result I "miss" some challenges. Feature request: A 3 second countdown during interval training instead of the current default of hearing a 4 countdowns (30s, 20s, 10s and 3s) before an interval closes. I find that distracting, especially when I have music playing in the background because it stops when the voice comes on and kind of takes you out of the "zone".

Had this app from years ago whilst it was still called Runtastic. That's exactly how it's been. Fantastic. I started with the free version and eventually bumped it up to the Runtastic pro version. It suits me. I'm a simple man with simple needs. It's easy to use and records what I need it to do. I don't do social media so I can't comment on the apps ability to upload your life for all to see. For me it's a cheap and VERY easy way to record runs. Distance and times. I highly recommend it.

The tracking keeps going off! (And yes, I'm connected to mobile data and GPS is perfect) I get home and it wasn't tracking all along! When you are training, 'recovering the last session' doesn't quite help. I want to see how I did for the whole run, continuously, not to mention how much ground I've covered. This has happened severally - making me lose track (literally) of my training plan. It's a no for me.

Have been using Runstastic free for two years and the prior version helped me train for a sprint triathlon. The latest version, however, is CRAMMED with ads! They interfere with use. I would happpily watch one or two 15s ads before starting or adding an activity, but when they pop up literally right in the middle of adding or editing activities,it's frustrating and distracting. Too many push messages as well. Product team needs to holistically reevaluate the free experience because it's far less usable as is.

This running app is literally so easy to use and you can have it operating in the background with your screen in sleep mode. All I have to do is open the app, hit Start Live Run and begin my run. If you have any kind of sport you play and you will like to keep track of your progress, this app gives many many many different sports to track. NOT JUST RUNNING. I highly recommend this app.

This app goes really to far with very intrusive ads. At the same time it nags you permanently to buy the paid version which still is very limited without a very expensive subscription. It has some nice features althought UI and UX are quite lacking considering how long this app has been around - but there are apps out there that offer equal or better features even for free. No need to suffer from those really annoying ads or pay a premium price for a pretty mediocre app. Funny thing: I just switched from Windows Mobile to Android and the Windows version of the app was a LOT better in every aspect, despite it hasn't been updated for years. But maybe that's why it was so good - seems the Runtastic team spent most of the time over the last years on ad placement, nag screens and feature limitations. After years of using Runtastic, I will switch now and maybe just use the fitness app that comes for free with my mobile device.

I like the basic info offered by the free version of the app, but I wish it offered auto pause function, so it would automatically pauses the activity when you make a stop, like my running watch does. I always run with both the app in my phone and my running watch and the results are very similar. You can see the graph by distance or duration and pace or speed by 1km splits (other options in the paid version). I don't have the paid version, so I'm not able to make a note detailed evaluation.

I've only used it for a few days now, but I paid for the premium and it still is lacking what I need. I typically run on a treadmill, and if you select that as your activity you can't access the workout plan you are on. I really enjoy the workout plan that I chose because it is interval training to build up to running longer distances. If I just select the running activity, it doesn't give me anything for miles and I haven't figured out a way to manually change the miles and calories. But other than that, this app is pretty good, I still need to try out the other functions.
