I've only used this a couple times; I downloaded this morning. It seems good but I have one suggestion. Show a picture of the tree associated with the leaf. Perhaps one pic per season of the appearance of the tree.

Surprisingly accurate considering the complexity of plant ID- especially with flowers amd leaves. Bark is obviously less accurate. It almost always gives a few choices, and at least gets the right genus. Figuring out the precise species among several very similar species in the same genus is up to the user, but notes about range and habitat of the different species are quite helpful. For common houseplants and garden varieties, it is right on. It's also done well on introduced weeds, and trees.

Obviously, the app designers deliberately make the ads as obnoxious as possible to force people to upgrade to a subscription. Usually returna a correct ID, however you have to pick it out of many similar options. To read descriptions, you have to endure five seconds of pop-up ads before each option. Would be better if you could also enter some identifying details, like "has thorns" or answer questions like "are the stipules fringed?" That would narrow search results out the gate.

his app is absolutely phenomenal! I am currently working on my first year of plant studies in my high school botany-prep class, and this app works wonders! Yes, of course it is not 100% accurate, but then again, it removes all instances of human error, so the ONLY ways that it could mistake a plant would be that, for one, the photographer could be doing a not-so-great job at capturing the plant, or that the database has little instances of the plant. The only way to cure that? Continue to use

Started off really well with very good identification and acceptable level of ads but today it seems to have got stuck and I've just had 9 ads in a row and no plant identification! Update: I restarted my phone and l think l know what the problem is. I was trying to identify some toadstools using the 'bark' identifier section which shows two little toadstools. This time l didn't get ads but another plant identifier app popped up three times! I'll just stick to leaves and flowers.

This app automatically puts you in a subscription. I had no idea I was paying annually until changing my payment method with my other apps I have subscribed to. Check your payments even if you Uninstall. They are stealing $32 from my account. I installed this app, took like two pics to see if it worked and that was all. I did not signup for a subscription. Thieves.

Seems to work pretty good. Not sure on the accuracy since it matches several different plants based off of your photo, all of which look completely different. And the ads are THE WORST! Super annoying! I couldn't go a single one time trying to search for a plant without being prompted to download another app! Uninstalled
