Will someone please fix this app!! The app used to work fine. Lately it has just been buffering randomly, stopping abruptly stopping on it's own. I thought it was my WIFI connection, but that hasn't turned out to be the problem. The BIGGEST ISSUE Is I can't leave more than one comment without it freezing up in process

Disabled because I can't uninstall. I have YouTube premium and will keep it. I have a Google phone. I turned off gestures, YT still randomly advances to next video. Trying to go back a video may it may not return to where I left off depending on how you get to it. The thing that really got me though was the mini-player (not PIP). If I swipe YT to close, it keeps playing. If I close the mini-player, it keeps playing forcing me to re-open YT. I can't block channels on mobile. Bye Android YT.

Easily my most used app, but also becoming my least favorite. I love the creator content the platform enables, but I've never used such a glitchy and unreliable app. It crashes within two minutes of opening every time on all of my devices (even new ones), and the downloads system for premium subscribers is half baked, not allowing you to organize or search downloads at all. The app is heavily developed but needs far more work to really be worthwhile and as functional as one would expect.

Weird bug at the moment. If you are watching shorts then a normal video pops up in your notifications. When you go to watch it because you've just been on the shorts it won't let you watch the video in landscape mode until you minimize the video and select home. Then you can go back to the video and watch it in landscape. Other than that everything is great

(Idk if this is just me, but I remember youtube doing this before) everyone tends to get 2 ads at a time and I'm no different, only on my phone I can't skip both at once and on my computer I can. It seems a bit redundant to make one platform have to sit through 2 ads but the other is how it's been for years and there's ALREADY too many ads, why would I want to have to skip twice as much? I'm almost ready to uninstall it and use my computer(until they change THAT too much too at least)

As of Jan 24, 2024: The latest update is causing CONSTANT crashing on my brand new phone. Even Tumblr doesn't crash this much. I've had to hear the same 20 seconds of the same video three times because it crashed three times in less than 5 mins. On my last phone, the sound would get chopped to hell from YT. I even have Premium but the app's been so enshittified it's almost unusable. Fix your app!!!

If I dislike a video, stop recommending it to me. There are videos that I enjoy watching multiple times a week but they're never recommended to me in my 'watch again' recommendations. Your algorithm is very particular in what videos are recommended. I'll only ever see the same five videos in my recommendations from a channel that has over 1k videos. And fix the landscape viewing mode..everytime I go to 'x' out of the video, it automatically goes into portrait mode.

I don't know if this just a me issue, but lately, not only has there been a dozen ads per 1 video, there's also been so many glitches in the shorts. First one is that when I try to type a comment, my keyboard freezes and doesn't let my type. The second is a video will start playing for 2 , glitch out, replay from the start and sometimes it'll do that twice. It's so annoying.
