Installed this briefly to seek alternatives to Google podcasts. Do not like that the onboarding flow tried to subscribe me to a bunch of podcasts and make me pay before trying out the app (im willing to pay for good apps but i should be able to try it first). Also do not like that there's a social media network attached and overall the app is very visually noisy.

Great replacement for Google Podcasts, but I wish you could restart an old podcast that you were listening to more easily. I always have to keep digging through all the downloaded files to find something I was listening to previously.

Really like this Castbox App, and it is a great replacement for Google Podcasts. I found episodes and shows that I couldn't find there! It has everything you need to listen to podcasts especially when you need to use other apps and shut off your screen.

What's up with hanging on start app? Also, playlist management is horrible. Playing my playlist stops in the middle with "your playlist is finished" message!? Can you get rid of them (or just the my playlist) and just have a single queue, please?

Great app, big battery drain. Changed to this podcast app recently and it's been excellent, except for the HUGE battery drain. Often the downloading episodes get stuck, which seems to contribute to the battery drain.

App is okay, tons of ads. Biggest issue is battery drain. Phone was at 100% when I woke up..didn't use the app at all but it somehow used 10% of my battery. Looking for an alternative after years of using.

This app is very disappointing. Podcasts auto download without my choosing what to download. Episodes don't leave the queue once they are done playing. The whole thing is clunky. Deleting it and moving on.

I didn't appreciate the auto-subscribed ad podcasts especially the religious and border-line conspiracy theory ones. I NEVER want to see Joe Rogan's name by default. I understand that you can pay to get rid of those but, when I tried to pay, I got caught up in an infinite loop of signing into google. I was already signed in. Trying a new app shouldn't be a day of work. Deleted before I could effectively use it.
