There are quite a few mobile tools that support journaling, work notes, and day activities, but finding a strong support application for dedicated writing is indeed a bit difficult. If you are pursuing a career in content writing or want to record all emotions, life events in the most orderly and scientific way, UpNote will be one of the rare applications you should try.
Compared to the usual diary or schedule note apps found on mobile, UpNote is quite distinctive in functionality and depth.
First, UpNote combines the two features mentioned above into one, and more. You can not only use UpNote for unlimited professional writing, but also quickly and conveniently log and store ideas, activities, as well as tasks of the day.
Second, UpNote helps to quickly jot things down and then automatically helps you organize and reorganize all your notes. It can also classify according to many different flexible criteria for easy management, storage, sharing and future continuation.
UpNote is also one of the well-invested note-taking and writing applications. It works on various platforms including iOS, Mac, Windows and Android. In particular, the application is also designed so that you can easily use it on any device thanks to its ability to synchronize as well as store it directly on the user’s cloud storage.
Last but not least, both emotionally and functionally, UpNote will help you take notes easily in any situation and really focus on the thread of thoughts going on in your head. It is less likely to be interfered with by unnecessary small features or intrusive ads like some other apps. This, although basic, but helps users overcome many obstacles and quickly access their writing work in the purest way.
Once you’ve finished a file, you can store your notes on your device or in pre-linked cloud storage from scratch. Or you can export your notes/articles as Markdown or PDF for easy viewing, editing and printing if needed.
Friendly but professional interface
Neither many colors nor a variety of sweet designs, UpNote’s interface is the harmony between a friendly and pleasant feeling with professionalism and standards in each design page.
The app’s beautiful fonts and fully customizable elegant writing themes make the user’s experience the most comfortable. However, the application still ensures neatness thanks to its neat, systematic structure and standard presentation.
UpNote also includes a high-quality focus mode. That means all notes and writing are displayed on the background of a clean minimalist design, so you are never distracted. If you want more inspiration, you can also start Typewriter Mode to really focus on writing in the most classic and purest way.
Scientific management and storage
UpNote also has an intuitive organization system that is superior to apps with similar features. Your writing and note-taking space will always be as neat and light as possible.
While recording, UpNote will automatically save all your writing, and synchronize it instantly. After that, you can open the written file to view it on any device and continue writing without any problems.
After taking notes, UpNote allows users to save the completed file in many different ways: in the application’s notebook, write to the top of the list of articles on the application homepage or bookmark it for later. Even if you want, you can quickly link to other notes for convenience.

I've been looking for an app to hold my 35 years of journals/diaries ever since things went digital. I've tried them all, including Evernote, Notion, Nimbus, and the 'big three' diary apps, Day One, Diaro and Journey. They are all sadly lacking in one aspect or another, or they charge extortionate yearly fees. Upnote is new, but already has most of the features I want, and with a lifetime subscription of £13, it would be rude to refuse. So I'm on board. Keep up the good work.

It's good but the using the bold, italics, and crossed, or any of the options while writing can be very buggy and annoying, therefore the -3 stars. When you press on the options on with what you want to write it doesn't work and once that happens, you can't use it anymore on that note and you'll have to remake it again. So yes, very buggy— it's a decent app, but not as much good as any of the others being quite, very buggy and certain things don't work; Or so they do but then it breaks.

I love your app, it's minimal and also pretty lightweight. I use it in my pc but when I found out about the mobile version, I quickly downloaded it and it works and synchronises very well. But in my phone, I can't access my setting option, when I click it, the app restarts automatically. Can you check if it is a bug or not?? Update: new update fixed it, thanks dev.

Easily a go-to notes app, it's fast and smooth. I do a lot of tinkering and having an app that I can simply edit or take notes with is great. It's not clunky, it functions perfectly and I have yet to witness a problem with any services within the app. There are multiple formatting types and it's great. There's not a single thing that this app doesn't do for me.

I've tested over 40 note-taking apps, trying to find "The One." UpNote isn't quite perfect yet (e.g., no collaboration), but it HAS become the app I use for *everything*. Perfect alternative to Evernote (w/o the bloat). Intuitive UI. Unlike the glut of Markdown apps out there, UpNote has rich text (colors & highlighting), unique formatting tricks & a great Formatting toolbar. Can be a tad buggy (formatting quirks). But dev is quite responsive. Bought a lifetime license to encourage development.

Worked great for months, the app has been a lot more reliable and less bloated then Evernote. Though recently a number of bugs have occurred, such as the constant deletion of numbered bulletpoints and the bigger issue of the app scrolling to the bottom of the page whenever i try to edit a note that already has text making it a chore to write anything, which basically defeats the main use of the app, will wait it out a few weeks for these bugs to be fixed but otherwise will be looking elsewhere.

MUST HAVE APP! After several months of use, it's completely replaced Evernote for me, and works much better! The full version is definitely worth it but I would prefer a one time payment instead of monthly subscription. Also, we need to be able to format text when sharing from other apps, such as sharing links from chrome. You have to open the app and edit the note to add header text or bold/italic, which gets time consuming. Still 5⭐ for sure! Beats Evernote and any other note app

A world-class notes app. It's clear that Thomas started with getting the interface right and worked from there. Having images for each notebook works so well as text only can be a bit overwhelming when it comes to keeping stuff organised. The app was quite feature-lite at the beginning, but the interface was gorgeous to use - such an important thing - clean, attractive, and functional. From there features have steadily been added over the last year or so that I've been using it. You can organise notes either by placing them in one or more notebooks, or use hashtags within the notes themselves, so there's a lot of flexibility when it comes to organising. Adding notes to Quick Access is really useful for lists you regularly add to or when you're keeping logs. You can also pin notes to the top of notebooks to make them more visible. I sync between Android and Windows I find it flawless. In the past I've used Evernote, Simplenote, Joplin, and Google Keep. UpNote blows them out the water.

Where is this appplication came from? I was stuck for years with Evernote and the more I that used it, the more I hate it. Then arrived Notion and I was happy to leave Evernote. But Notion is too clunky and online only. And I found UpNote. What a great app. Each time I say to myself : "Ohh, this feature will surely be missing", and a little of search and boom, the feature has been implemented. I finally found a great app, with a great UI and all the features I want for a ridiculously low price.
