Accurate Translations With Context

Unlike traditional translation apps that offer word-for-word translations, Reverso Translate and Learn provides translations in context, ensuring that you understand how words and phrases are used in real-life situations. This feature is particularly useful for learning idiomatic expressions, slang, and other nuances of a language that are often lost in direct translations. Simply enter a word, phrase, or sentence, and Reverso will provide a detailed translation along with examples of usage, making it easier to grasp the meaning and apply it correctly.

Expand Your Vocabulary With Flashcards

Reverso Translate and Learn helps you build and retain vocabulary through personalized flashcards. After translating a word or phrase, you can save it to your flashcard deck for later review. The app uses spaced repetition to quiz you on these words, ensuring that you review them at optimal intervals to reinforce your memory. Over time, this method helps you build a robust vocabulary that you can recall and use with ease.

Learn From Examples And Synonyms

Understanding the full scope of a word's meaning is key to mastering a language. With Reverso Translate and Learn, you can explore multiple examples and synonyms for each word or phrase you translate. This feature allows you to see how different words and expressions can be used in various contexts, helping you choose the most appropriate term in any given situation. By seeing words in action, you'll gain a deeper understanding of their meaning and usage, accelerating your language learning journey.

Pronunciation Guides And Audio Clips

Perfect your pronunciation with Reverso Translate and Learn’s audio clips and pronunciation guides. Each translated word or phrase comes with a native-speaker audio clip, allowing you to hear how it’s pronounced in the target language. This feature is invaluable for improving your speaking and listening skills, as it helps you learn the correct intonation, stress, and rhythm of the language.

Your app is very useful. It helps me a lot. But there are improvements which would make me totally happy about it. For instance, search history results should be extended. I have to delete recent translations in order to find the word i need there. Search histories play important role for me when learning a language. Offline mode is needed as well. Please consider that. Thx:))

Best translator, dictionary and learning tool for a range of languages. Rather than just seeing a computer-generated translation, you can see how expressions, verbs, lexis, etc. is used in context, as well as a variety of synonyms/similar expressions to choose from. This greatly improves the understanding and memorization of not only what a word means, but also how and when it is used, which is ultimately what learning a new language comes down to. Very useful!

very good app but I have a couple of suggestions. First, I would like better learning features and the ability to review all my history words and have the app keep track of how many times I have answered each one correctly. secondly, I would like my history to be synced across multiple devices with my login so I can see the same word list on all my devices. Thirdly, have you ever watched a Mexican Netflix series? Your app is rather deficient in Mexican/ South American slang, which is vast!

It's really unique. You may enjoy multiple choices. For example, when learning french you're offered mutiple instances of your word in texts with its parallel translation. Moreover, you are given the pronunciation, the conjugation, and english synonym. Reverso is the best app for learning languages in context. I've used any other apps and its the best for me so far. I'm really grateful to its developers. You may also enjoy its other apps like reverso synonym. Thanks a lot

I've only just started using this app but it's been really helpful for translations, giving you the different ways a word can be translated and also showing lots of examples of the word in other sentences. It's not quite as intuitive as I'd like, for example, with the flashcards. It is definately my 'go to' for english/italian translation.

Very useful for me. It helps to see words in context when learning a new language Its not perfect so some work is needed to get what need. The paid plan makes no sense (at least not for me) since it is expensive and does not offer much. I would offer a 1$/mo plan just to get the add free version and nothing more. I would gladly pay that to support the app. 4-5$/mo is just too much for me since I use it maybe a few times a month. How many heavy users are there that would actually pay 4$/mo for it

This would be a 5 star rating, except that in the learning mode there are suddenly ads every three or four words. Sometimes they pop up in the middle of speaking exercises, which is rather irritating. I understand the need for ad revenue, but it seems like it could be done in a manner that doesn't interfere with the learning process. Edit: The latest update has definitely improved this app. While there are ads, they no longer interrupt the learning experience. Good app!

Really nice, I paid for the app. It has some small annoying features. For instance, I often use history to check on words I looked up before. However, sometimes I wrote them wrong and I want to delete those. After every delete the app goes back to the top instead of where I was. Also , would be great if the app used the words I looked up in search history for the learn mode. Looking for a manual!

Wonderful translation app! It shows multiple translations to better define context, even slang! Languages not in the Latin alphabet ARE transliterated. You just have to tap the translation you want. Audio is also provided. This app has been very helpful in my pursuit of mastering Italian. Definitely give this app a try. You have nothing to lose and a world to gain!
