Yahoo mail user for decades. Have seen far worse mail apps, BUT... 1. intrusive ad locations. Ads load several seconds later and take the slot of the top email, making it likely user will open ad instead. I suspect this is intentional. 2. Bring back primary color choices or better overall palette. Pastels are a horrible restriction and do not visually differentiate enough from each other. The marketing science behind color branding is junk science. 3. Increase customization options. Thx

I've been using Yahoo as my primary email for years and the app has been a massive time-saver for me until recently... I open the app and it tells me there are unread/new emails and yet it doesn't update to allow me to see said new mails. If I'm.lucky, it will update and I can eventually see the new mails (now I'll have dozens of new and unread) but the mail itself won't load when I open it. I've had to resort to Gmail to see my yahoo mails! Not impressed at all Yahoo.

I can't send emails without allowing the Yahoo app to have access to my phone's contacts list... Since when? More digital spying. Way to go Yahoo, you officially suck.... Update 5-9-2024: Updated app. Thought maybe it was a bug. Still can't send emails without allowing access to my phone's contacts. Guess I have to start using a different email app

The back arrow causes the app to freeze up, rendering all input useless. A pop up then appears saying to close app or wait. Also...Periodically, my email just disappears. It returns after I reset the phone. Un-installing and re- installing did not fix either problem. I would switch to Gmail except I've had this same email forever and it's too much trouble to change now.

Just had a really frustrating experience with this app. It somehow signed me out of my account on my phone. Kept asking for a security pin I didn't have. I couldn't sign in any other way, and I uninstalled the app. Afterwards I immediately got an email explaining that I had turned off the account key feature for my device, something I never had on in the first place, and that going forward I would need to use my password (which I had been using for years). Really annoying.

Hate it keeps reinstalling its 293kb of notification sounds- that don't even work. The notification envelope used to stay at the top of my screen until I cleared it now it disappears immediately so if I'm not looking at my phone I have no idea I have an email when I look at screen unless I open the app. No point in the app if I don't get a notification. Just want the envelope no sounds. Please fix!!! 1 star because nothing fixed.

Yahoo Mail just continues to get worse. The amount of recent spam getting through everyday is beyond unprofessional. Now with the last update- the recipient bar constantly tries to make multiple suggestions and this IS ANNOYING and confusing and a cause for accidental inputs of recipients! HOW DO WE TURN IT OFF????! It's time to find a different email server!

S**t, I have tried to log in to my account multiple times after changing password and it goes in a big loop, I have tried everything that is advised on the website and no joy. I have tried calling yahoo but the number does not work or does not register you pressing the buttons. No support out there for users. Phone doesn't show the body of the email. Only sender details, date and the receiver information! I'm using Samsung galaxy S20. As suggested, I deleted the app and reinstalled. Now it won't allow me to login. I selected: Login with Yahoo, and the white page appears and nothing happened! Can't login now! From laptop/computer or phone browser it's fine, no issues. Only prob with app!
