I live in a rural area and I'm constantly frustrated with this apps need to connect to the internet. Why can't I do anything on the local device? When I have no cell signal, and my car throws a code that prevents it from starting, this is when I need this device the most ( as a disclaimer, sometimes my car will throw erroneous codes and then clear themselves up later on , so many of these codes I know it's safe to drive with). Also, needing an update should not prevent me from using the app.

Incredibly powerful tool when it works. Havent been able to connect to my tool for almost a year or longer. It needs my location information to even connect to a car (why?). other than that it used to great! a friend said his still works on his iPhone so maybe it's just an android issue. if you can get it to work I do recommend it! recode options and variants and features for modules watch live OE pids (mvb's / ODIS) read faults in wholenetworks of modules. Hope it works again soon.

I've had this obdeleven pro version little over a year now and for the most part 90% of the time always good luck with long coding and added some of the 1 click apps until I learned some insight on coding. Other than recently for my suspension, I had went into live data to check values for each wheel via the load level sensors and I have magnetic ride control. Car ended up into a basic setting mode, couldn't reverse what somehow happened. Now dealer visit unfortunately.

Save yourself, don't bother. Look at other OBD options before you buy. Would NOT have bought knowing what I do now, would have gone with other. So I bought the device before they moved to subscription so that I could use it... then they moved to subscription pay model for long coding for Pro, and I could no longer buy lifetime. Then just as I begin to use it, they remove free credits by ads (not that you could get much per day).

General connectivity issues. Have to try connecting multiple times before it pairs. Besides that, live data can sometimes drop out. Does everything and then some. Bought to do rear brakes with epb and troubleshoot misfires and lean condition, was able to narrow it down to te he pcv. Already proving to be a worthy investment. Would highly recommend, just have patience when it comes to connecting sometimes.

Was brilliant since updates not as smooth as it was. Especially when trying to view a video to get a credit especially if I only need 5 to do what I want instead of paying for the credit. It just does not load. The app itself is still very good. I would learn the long coding to do it properly as a recommendation. I think if the owner makes the videos load better and not hang it would make it better. Update 9/07/2022 The free credits have stopped which is disappointing

Update: I don't understand. You retroactively changing the contract on those who purchased the app beforehand. That is simply not right. Nothing has been done to address the unfairless of this decision. And the apps interface is incredibly slow. I'm not getting the free daily point for the past few days. I just reinstalled the app and signed in and still nothing.

In my experience, only usefull and working segment are the one click apps. If you wish to perform long coding - you're faced with almost no documentation regardless of the subscription you paid. Very poor technical support from Voltas team with errors I faced within the app, letalone providing any info on customization which is why many of us bought the device in the first place.

Awesome app/dongle but wish there was a feedback system to allow commenting on non-working apps so we don't waste points. I ended up losing 20pts because one of the apps didn't work and broke functionality on the car which had to get reverted. Also, improved English translations of data, long coding, and adaptation channels would be spectacular. Could even allow channel notes or renaming or allow for crowdsourced translations. Graphical assignment of lighting channels would be next level.
