Was working great until a recent update. Strict mode blocks access to your phone'w settings of all places, essentially hindering your phone for doing something simple like turning on bluetooth.

This app is absolutely awesome and very effective!! I didn't realize how much of an issue I had until I had to block "App Block" itself so I wouldn't go and change the time so I could go on social media! Sometimes when you get bored all u turn to is ur phone. Or when u can't sleep. This definitely gets you outside, gets yoy better sleep, etc. Very effective. 10/10 would most definitely recommend.

The application is good, it has served me as an excellent assistant for a long time, however, I once bought the pro version, even before the subscription appeared, and today somehow it stopped working and all the restrictions that were applied earlier now require it. It seems to me that this is not a fair method of forcing a subscription.

So buggy. If you open blocked app once then get "app blocked" pop up, you close the pop up and try and use your phone for other things and just get a continuous pop up even tho you aren't accessing the app. Only thing that stops it is restarting the phone. Woeful.

Downloading this app (yes, the paid version) has had the biggest positive impact on my day-to-day behavior of any decision I made in the past 2-3 years. The full strict mode setting allowed me to break some debilitating habits (online chess and YouTube) and free up 8-20 hours of my time each week, while still allowing me to use my phone in all the ways I need to. This was a great app but despite having ads they've slowly eliminated features in the free/ ad version until it's pretty useless. And it's not a cheap subscription either.

It helps me stay productive. I use the web extension on chrome. Both are amazing, cause it's free, it's easy to turn off when you have to and you can also set a time for when you want to block apps and websites. It is amazing!

Easy to setup. I tried alternatives and even after completing all setup it just didn't work. Appblock is useful both as a parent for my childs device to protect them and for myself to limit distractions.

Cheating is much harder with the latest update, keep up the good work. alsow might there be a way to not allow YouTube, instagram, and others to be blocked on navigator such as chrome with out locking you out of the ever so needed search motors? I find is fairly easy to access content not through their oficial website, but through Google since it allows videos and short to be seen through it.
