It's a great app for anime watchers but it's the fact that since they changed there's prices, they didn't send a email on the fact they were changing their prices, so i spent $10 dollars and then changed the subscription because i didn't know that that happens. S.o i have a fan membership for about $2 more than i was going to orginally spend but theyre was no warning.

Love it! the catalog of anime is huge and honestly crunchyroll has come a long way. Back then I used to lose my mind bc episodes would often get stuck and not load, and everything operated very slowly overall. Problems still occur sometimes, but it's less troublesome now, i gave 1 star back then bc it was really annoying but now i can finally give 5 stars. Keep on improving it's going in a good direction! There's literally no better place to watch so many anime legally. Love the new live feature

Offline viewing is a nightmare, synced episodes just de-sync for no reason everyday and keep loading forever afterwards giving me the same stupid notifications all over again - it's unwatchable at this point. Also, many other bugs like: weird numbers on the seasons/chapters making it hard to navigate; subtitles out of sync; crashing and lagging etc. People are saying that support is also not helping with any of these problems. Not worth my money, I will unsubscribe.

Normally this app is fine except as of late issues have been getting worse and don't seem to be getting fixed like I cannot download any episodes whether I'm on Wi-Fi or not unless I have the app open and the player never seems to remember where I left off so I constantly have to restart and scroll to where I left off and it doesn't seem like they plan on fixing it anytime soon

It sucks cause we have very few apps for anime. But I hate crunchyroll. I've had problems with subtitles not showing. The UI for the app just being plain stupid. Idk how many times I've uninstalled and re-installed the app. I'm in search of a better app cause crunchyroll can't get it right. Also, I'm not reaching out to your "support" again. Already wasted my time and money.

I would like to give this more stars but I keep having problems with this app not showing the subs. I know the subtitles aren't always available immediately after an episode is made available but even a week after sometimes the subs aren't working. Various websites talk about this bug and suggest toggling on/off subs, reopening the app or clearing cache and sometimes these tricks work but sometimes they don't. Sometimes I just have to wait an hour and then come back and they're working.

Its a really good app, but every three minutes there is freaking ads. Had just downloaded the app and clicked on a show, and I had to basically wait seven minutes or something while it played the same ad over and over seven or nine times. Maybe if they could take a few ads down, so I could atlest watch half of my shows and then see at least three ads, would make this app a whole lot better in my opinion. But yet, it's only my opinion.

The casting button on this app works about 10% of the time. The other 90% of the time it just has an endless loading "finding devices". If you try to troubleshoot it blames other devices even though it's clearly crunchyroll's issue. The direct app on fireTV plays in 240p even when connected to >1gbps internet speeds with no option to change the quality on the player. Would be a decent app if it worked!

Great app... but have been constantly getting issues with subtitles not appearing when the show I'm watching has shown subtitles before. Already tried force stopping the app, checking on my profile if subtitles/cc is turned on, and swapping between another language and back. Nothing that I've done at one given time has shown to fix the issues and am at the mercy of the app willing to work properly. Will change my review if this ever gets fixed.
