Please note that without root access, there are technical limitations to the functionality of the application. We try to provide "the most convenient solution possible" for shared phone Internet, but it may not be an "ideal" or "universal" solution (like a regular WiFi hotspot). It may not work on specific devices.

WiFi Direct Mode (New Feature!)

PdaNet+ now features the new "WiFi Direct Hotspot" feature, which works on all phones with Android 4.1 or higher. It allows you to connect computers and tablets to your phone using WiFi BUT, which will require you to install our client app or set up a proxy depending on the device you want to connect to your phone. You can activate "WiFi Direct Hotspot" in PdaNet+ and tap "Help!". button for detailed instructions.

*If your Windows computer doesn't see the hotspot during pairing, do two things: 1. Restart the hotspot on your phone.

2. Click "Show all WiFi Direct Hotspots". It will verify that your adapter supports 5Ghz.
