Love everything except that it's a Google app. Because, like everything else, once your free space is gone, it's unusable. You can't back up either. That all aside, it's easy to use. It's got everything you need from Word to Excel. It houses pictures and documents also.

The latest update is good, but it needs few more changes.The document generation ( scan ) should have more filters and should work without internet.The files when scrolling inside it always changes the pages, so the scroll should work only with in the edges.Also the word and Excel documents should open in Google drive. Thank you guys.

Often can't open sheets due to an unreasonable "The document is already open in another editor. Please close it first, then try again.", despite force quitting Drive and Sheets. So I just can't access my sheet that's in fact not open in any other editor. EDIT: Reducing to 1 star for oblivious, unhelpful response from Google marketing team pretending to be customer support. EDIT: Wish I could give 0 stars for being advised to clear app cache, as though that's an acceptable UX, rather than a bug.

I don't know what has happened to Google Drive. Even after selecting "upload with data" multiple times, the upload gets paused, showing "wifi not available." When trying to upload with wifi, it just keeps syncing for 3-4 days without uploading a single file. Didn't expect this from Google Drive.

Since a recent update - "open with" hangs the phone. This is one of my most common usages for the app, so it's bad. Resetting data & cache and restarting doesn't fix the issue. Using a Pixel phone so can't completely uninstall. However, uninstalling the update and downgrading the app does resolve the issue.

Scanning is broken. The filters don't do anything, just the same photo of my document. Only thing I used the Drive app for. Uninstall/reinstall did not help. Pixel 6 pro. No Google, that doesn't help because the filters just don't do anything. I click the filters and I get the original photo.

There is a display bug on Pixel 8. Whenever I open a picture/PDF inside the there is a series of green dots on the bottom right side of the screen that show for a fraction of a second. It's a software issue, please share this with the developers! Thx!

Files "waiting to be uploaded" even though I allowed mobile data, and I can't even feedback properly with the in-app feedback button, the screenshot can't be modified and stays at the menu screen. It works on OneDrive

It fails to upload if multiple video files are uploaded. It keeps spinning. And it won't cancel the upload as well - maybe for the fear of losing the customer and the access the app can get to customers data. Why else would a cancel upload command wont stop the upload!!
