One thing missing from this app which would help tremendously is the ability to add tags. It would be nice if when creating a story for a day, instead of having to type words, there was an option that said "add tag" or "quick word" or something that you can then use to fill the story text box basically as a quick typing method. For instance, I solely use this app for bodybuilding purposes to write each day what muscle groups I trained. So using a kind of quick typing would be nice for that.

Looks Promising Then Deletes Entries I had high hopes for this app because it has a great design and seems like it offers a lot of features. Unfortunately, many of those features are only for monthly subscribers, but I could deal with that if I liked the app enough. However, after typing my very first entry, saving it, and coming back about 30 minutes later intending to add to it, I discovered that more than half of my entry had been deleted. Huge disappointment. Uninstalling now.

Nice, lean app. Very simple to use. Would be handy to have moods and tags. Does not pick up time format from system settings - timestamps are always in 12 hour format (am/pm). The three dot menu on the 'More' tab is redundant as it only has 'Settings' in it, which is displayed on the tab already. Fingerprint unlocking is not evident. You have to set up a locking code to be able to use fingerprint, but it's not mentioned she in the app.

Only two days and it's a winner. Simple and easy to use. This app is exactly what I needed to keep track of what I do at work.. With the microphone feature I can track what I do on the fly.. Would like to store data on external card Would like more options for background settings like (night mode) Fingerprint recognition.. But still five stars in my book. Thank you.

This app makes it very easy and quick to add entries with a date and time stamp. It defaults to the date and time when you start an entry, but you can also reset the date and time if you neglected to make an entry earlier in the day, etc. It also syncs between my android and the web version. It would be very helpful if the scrolling view of the notes showed more of the lines in my longer notes. I would also like to be able to create different journals within one Daybook account.

This is a really simple, good app. A couple of features I like to see implemented at some point are the ability to use bold, underline, and italics; also the ability to scroll a little better when your keyboard is open. However, overall they had the sense to make it what it needs to be without all kinds of flashy things that don't work.

I've been using Color Note for several years now, and it was perfect for certain things, e.g. checklists and general notes. I wanted something for noting to do lists, and what I accomplished, as well as automatically dating it for me. I stumbled upon yours, and it's just what I needed, so thanks. The only thing is, and I will give you 5 stars if you fix it, is the fact that when I hit the home button, or do anything to exit the app, it doesn't automatically save like Color Note.

This is an extremely useful app, I've been using it on daily bases. The only issue is...there is no backup! Although it's connected to Google, I've recently realized that you can't backup your notes unless you download them manually. Even then, you can only open them through the same app, only on Android devices. So to the developers :) it would be awesome to give this a look in your next update! And thanks for the super cool app!

Tried a few diary apps now. This seems like a keeper. I like being able to type with the web browser mostly, but having it on phone is great too. Oddly the web browser lets you add a title, but the app doesn't show them. Also the web browser version doesn't have the guide features from the app. Saving a draft is only on the browser version. So needs work to match up both versions, but both are working well. Doesn't nag heavily for premium upgrades like many journal apps either. Refreshing!
