Just downloaded this app & used it a few times. First impressions are GREAT: it's easy & intuitive to use & the recording quality seems good to me - way better than what I used to get on my previous (admittedly very cheap) dedicated dash cam. I particularly love the fact that I can set it to monitor when my phone connects to my car via B'tooth & have it just automatically start to record: v. convenient. Some issues with overheating, but I'm hoping I can address that by adjusting some settings.

I don't now normally give apps a rating but I will for this app. This app works amazingly. I have 2 phones, one for food delivery and the other for entertainment. I keep this app running in the background and it does a great job. The dashcam turns on automatically when my phone connects to my Bluetooth. It turns off automatically when disconnecting from Bluetooth. It has looped recording, it really is a great app

When I turn my phone on. The app starts to run even thou I have set it only to start when connected to a Bluetooth device. I have even paid for the pro version. But still doesn't help. Would have been 5 star if everything worked as promised. I have now deleted this. It just killed my full charged battery recording in my pocket. Bluetooth turned off. Am at work. It didn't record my drive to work this morning. Took a screen shot but able to upload.

This is one of several dashcam apps I tried. It's the only one that actually did what I wanted it to. There's enough settings that you can customize it to your needs whether your priority is video quality, storage space, or battery life. Premium is worth it, but the ads are absolutely not intrusive. It does what it says on the tin, basically.

Loving it! The only reason I'm currently giving four stars is the fact I can't (or I haven't found it, please let me know if this feature is available) lock videos to prevent overwrite. It would be great to have that option where I could just select a recording from the list and lock it to prevent automatic deletion until I get home to upload it or transfer to my laptop.

Had this for about 2 weeks now. Awesome. I prop my phone on the dash using a suction-cup holder. Open the app, press the record button and it records video in 5-minute increments you can retrieve in your pictures folder. It will even record in the background if you're using Google navigation or talking to someone on the phone. It also records audio. Important to note, this app will not magically make your phone's camera better and sitting your phone on the dash in the sun will make it heat up.

This is a fantastic app which allows you to benefit from the video and sound quality of a cell phone which no stand-alone dash cam comes close to. I have installed it on an unused cell phone and also use it as a trial-cam to capture animal activities and it exceeds my expectations by far. The choice of settings are excellent and this makes it easy to set up the phone to my exact requirements. One of the best apps I have come across in a long time.

Used a bunch of dashcam apps and this one is the best. Autoboy black box recorded in high resolution but drained my battery for some reason and had some wierd freezing issues after an update. Drive recorder was good for battery usage but the video seemed to be low resolution and could not change it. This app is the best of both worlds. Records in high resolution and not heavy on battery usage.

I love this app, and would gladly pay for a paid version. But *please* add the option to terminate and close the app completely from the menu. I have no need to have the background watcher process running when I'm not in my car, it chews up battery, and having to force terminate it all the time is a pain. Also, please consider adding "and" capabilities to the autostart menu. For example, connected to particular Bluetooth device AND connected to power source, autostart recording.
