Works with onvif, but... I could not get it to pick up IP WEBCAM running on old phones for years. Claims to pick up mjpeg, etc. Couldn't get it to pick up any of the URLs that I use with Tinycam, IP Cam Viewer or straight to a browser. However, once I got it working with an onvif cam, I found it wouldn't do motion detection, which is what I was looking for.

the difference from Stock Amcrest app video feed quality compared to Onvier is drastic. it's smooth, quick responsive, and easy to navigate. although setting up 3rd party cameras was a little tricky, but not horrible. 15 mins of reading and following directions later I saw the quality and instantly upgraded to pro.

Easy to use interface. Individual camera functions hidden away nicely, yet easily accessible. The ptz controls are a little small for me, on the phone.... My big fingers struggle a bit. It has accepted every security camera Ive thrown at it.... And setting up Wan access is easy thanks to the apps helpful instructions/suggestions.

Convenient way to view our IP CCTV Camera via Android TV & Android phone. Sometimes, cameras can't be viewed properly & PTZ can be accidentally activated even when not intended.

Although this app is pretty good in so far as it does what it is required, it does however overwrite my admin settings from a main control panel, and this I consider as a major security breach. So to that end I will not be using this app again, unless the security issues are realised and addressed. UPDATE:09/03/2020. I can confirm that settings in the camera's firmware were changed as I used this app. I know because I'd seen when I used the web interface, on a local network. Email sent.

It is a good app, but it has a constant problem with purchase restore. I have multiple accounts and some purchases are done on a different account. App tells me so many times that suddenly Google Play cannot find a license. It needs to have a account selector for purchase restore, so it checks the correct account for a license. Removing other accounts from the phone just to validate is not acceptable.

While I am still not sure how to get the cam to show up outside my network, I can at least get the image to come up through this app consistently. This has not been the case withost other apps. Im sure that i just haven't figured it out yet. I used this app for a long time to get the live picture from my front door and only have wanted to access it away from home since I was robbed and did not have a camera that was recording to an external drive.

Absolutely the best IP camera viewer! I paid a one off £3.69 for the pro version and I can instantly access my 2 ip cameras with about 1/2 a second lag over internet from anywhere on mobile. The app supports preset camera angles and zooms. A little knowledge is required on router port forwarding to enable viewing of more than one camera and a fixed external IP address helps with over the Internet viewing.... Although this isn't a must if you were to subscribe to a "no ip" service. By far best!
