I hadn't used this for ages now because after paying for pro they invented premium to rip off pro users, but needed a radio app so have just tried it again. In Android 11 it has a horrendous bug that doesn't allow you to dismiss it's notification in the notification shade no matter what, the only way to get shot of it is if another music player is running e.g. Spotify, then when you quit that TuneIn comes back on it's own. I don't have this problem with any other radio or music player, rubbish !

This app is flawed. And they really don't seem to care about feedback. On the surface Jack Kim seemed to care, even replied multiple times via email, but the new update pushed, and basically a semi-bricked app. Same problems only worse. App constantly starts playing over phone speaker after ringer goes off. Or after I hang up call. Or it vibrates. Or I make any noise from any other app. Stays open in background constantly. Defaults to unstable streams, no option. There's more, just out of space.

It used to be something we used constantly. Now it's only useful on select devices. I literally have two Android devices side by side, one running fine and the other saying "a stream connection error occurred" on the very same station. Whatever update they did in the past month rendered it useless on certain devices. Update 04 March 2021 The representative told me on Feb 10 that the company knows it is not ad free, and there is no ETA on actually delivering what they sell. Caveat emptor.

Good evening. I updated to the TuneInPro Premium with the understanding there was a 30-day free trial. I was charged the full price / rate through my mobile carrier. I immediately cancelled the subscription only to see that (1) I would not receive a refund and the subscription would cancel one year from today. I have notified my Mobile Carrier of this as well. They will not refund the purchase price knowing I was to receive a 30-day trial. I am asking you to refund the purchase price of $99.99 to my Mobile Carrier. Thank you.

Why can't I start the app without taking a premium subscription trial? I bought this app, not interested in a subscription. I shouldn't have to deal with a trial and cancelling something I don't want to about getting billed. SMH. Miss the old interface before all the social stuff got added to the UI. Updated: You didn't read what I wrote. When I launch your paid app I have *no choice* but to accept a free trial which then concerts too monthly billing. Not cool. Negative billing? I might have been interested in a trial but not today. I can't use your app without trusting the free trial. And once I do I now have to cancel our you bill me. Not cool. Ads for Waze in the app.

When loading a stream it constantly sits at "0% buffered" and never loads, and then it's locked up. I have to restart the app all the time to get it to work. WiFi or cell makes no difference. Strong data on both for me so it's not a poor data connection. It was better before and the iPhone edition does not have this problem. I have both. Like others, I bought the "pro" version to *not* have to listen to ads. The iPhone one doesn't hassle me about "premium" so why does this one? What is "pro" for then?

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as others. This used to be a great app and I paid for the Pro version and loved the recording capability. Now that it's been removed and the fact that this app has been causing battery degradation and heat issues for phones, I can no longer recommend it. Please at least fix the battery problem as for me it seems to have only started yesterday and today it drained my phone from 100% to 0% in 4 hours with it just sitting idle. Once I found out about this app's issue and deleted it from my phone, my battery problems instantly disappeared.

Cannot start play from car mode which is the only mode worth using as the standard interface is a mess. This app used to be quite good, but has turned into a greedy money grab, as even the “pro” version keeps nagging about trying a subscription. No thanks, I don’t want your subscription, and I paid money for the pro version which is supposed to be AD FREE, yet you keep showing the ad for your rotten subscription.

The main reason i buy this app, is because it can record the radio show and play it back anytime. (Although the recordings can't be exported, or share to another devices). And the best favourite feature this pro app offered me, was the schedule recording function. As sometimes i was busy working unable to listen radio show or didn't pay attention to time, the schedule recording function would help me to record the show for a period time i set. Now, the function doesnt work anymore. Disappointing.
