The best flash card app for learning Chinese. Preloaded with categories and easy to make your own. Write the English, Chinese, pinyin, example sentences, and pictures. Use different games to review different areas such as memory, writing, pronunciation etc I myself have built but categories for verbs nouns, adjectives, measure words etc and cycle through them each day (verbs Monday, nouns Tues etc) with a day saved to review which cards can be sent to the retired category and add new words.

Excellent flashcard app, Giving you a healthy vocab to start learning your desired language. (Russian in my case.) Like the ability to add to the vocab deck. Allowing you to build up and practice reading and writing a vast vocab. Really appreciate the chance to hear the words relayed back to me in Russian. It enormously enhances my learning experience. Simple and yet very effective ! Very good app, the built in vocabulary is also pretty complete, covering a lot more than basic words. The only feature I'd love to see is to hide the phonetic version though the whole app. My brain always picks the phonetics over the other native script when going through the words...

For Russian, the installed vocab is not particularly well selected or interesting. Hard to eliminate the superfluous/tedious words, one by one. (Saw the response below -- why not upload a better list; major problem anyway the next, for Russian & other scripts:) It also seems to force typing in the result, without the adaptive keyboard that Duolingo has. All that said, could still be great for imported vocab in Latin script.

I have been looking for something EXACTLY like this - the mini "games" are suuuper helpful as well for retaining words. The reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because there are quite a few pronunciation errors in the Japanese words. I haven't tried my flashcards in the kana (so maybe the words are pronounced correctly that way) but I dont need help with pronunciation so I don't mind - I just wanted to add that in case someone is anticipating using this app to help with that aspect.

Excellent app for everyday practice of new words, so that you can reinforce them just by repeating using different types of games. Has some great features, like adding pictures and exporting the word groups as an excel file. I would definitely suggest downloading this app, as it really makes the learning process fun and enjoyable.
