Ok in a pinch, when you can't find the remote, but VERY annoying. Displays a network connection error WITH EVERY keystroke, which must be acknowledged before the next keystroke. At least I can answer a call, but this is a stupid issue that shows low commitment to quality- cuz I see I'm not the first one to complain.

Jesus Christ, cant believe this is an app by Facebook, it is so clunky it fails to open seeral times, and once it does it doesnt even show me picture thumbnails even after restarting the app several times. Not to mention the fact that it doesnt even have any features other than adding pictures from facebook or the phone, very simple application and they managed to screw it up

I'm also getting the same error as others, with the portal tv and phone connected to the same wifi ssid, the app greys out the remote option and says to connect to the same wifi network. Is there any guidance as to why this might be happening? Additional features would be great, too; initiating a call to contacts rather than just being able to favourite, turn on privacy mode, etc.

Setting up Portal TV was a pain. The remote stopped working right away after set-up. Facebook support asked me to factory reset the device and the remote. Now, I can't even set it up because the remote is still not working. Garbage product. They didn't test this out properly. This is a big rip-off. I'm deleting my Facebook profile. F U Facebook!

Honestly so annoyed. I downloaded the app so that I could upload photos from my phone instead of whole albums from Facebook and I can't even log in! I keep getting the verification code texted to me/approved on the FB app, but the portal app keeps saying login error! I've uninstalled and re-insalled and restarted my phone. This is pretty ridiculous.

Won't let me upload photos. Keeps telling me to "allow permissions" all permissions necessary have been enabled and I keep getting the same error message. Garbage app. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the phone. Kind of useless to have the portal if you can't add anything to it.

Love the calling/video conferencing features with Portal, but.... This app on my phone entirely stopped working. The "loading" icon just spins and spins, and nothing happens. I cannot add any new pictures to my TV's digital frame. Really sucks. Looks like other people are having the same issue. Will update when this is fixed.

I tried to add photos from the portal app. It kept asking me to allow access to photos in settings. I had that permission turned on. It just kept saying the same thing. App has had so many bugs recently, so frustrating because I really love the portal for video chatting.
