I'm very happy with this app. No promo garbage...no pop-ups...no bugs...many useful features....and the weather data is current and complete. Update: Windy just got stupid. Now the app is glitchy and unusable. I had to reinstall the older version which Windy says will soon stop working. Unless they fix the app, I will permanently uninstall it when the current version stops working. Was five stars. Now zero.

This is the most underrated weather app (and site) in existence. We are sailors and use Windy religiously for passage planning but I also use it regularly now for regular weather forecasts. Great interface and a breeze to use.

This is one of only two apps subscriptions I have ever paid for. (I really got everything I needed for free. but wanted to support the world's best WX app. Yes, it's that good. A real-time view for hail (always a big concern in central Texas in the Spring) is the only thing missing. Windy is a steal for the access you get to so many quality WX models that are not generally available.

I used to adore this app, I recommended it to everyone and I work for a major Mobile Phone Provider so it was to a lot of people! But for the last few months the widgets have become increasingly more unreliable, failing to load or get stuck updating forever. Since the last software update a week or so ago it has become so useless I have removed it and replaced it with the Google weather widget. Such a shame.

Each new update introduces more clutter, of which you've no option over (as far as I can tell) the new Air quality and radiation indicator may be of use to some, but I suspect very few. It would be helpful if all three of these indicators could be options. Location sensor has also become dysfunctional, defaulting to somewhere in Spain instead of my location in the UK. Was seriously thinking of subscribing after many years of use that decision is now doubtful. I think Accuweather wins. Ron H

It's was really good, with plenty of options for you to use. And the graphics are just gorgeous. But with the last few updates it has become almost unusable on a phone, buttons are so small and close together you land up hitting the wrong one. And now it doesn't centre on your location, from the widget or just by opening it. If you try asking for help you just get a - we will think about it. No consideration that you're actually paying for the app.

Very good and accurate ap. I would like to see relative humidity also. Unfortunately I go from 5 to 2 star as widgets stoped refreshing anymore. Same phone... Will have to uninstall as it is not functional any more.

So a few things about the update, first, widgets will not stay loaded. Second, when I changed location, right now the app still thinks that I am 120 miles to the south. Third, you close the app after refreshing the location, then when you close it, it goes BACK to the cached location. And from a usability standpoint, having text versus pictures for the data layers is way easier. I unfortunately was forced to update (I had rolled back the update in hopes that this would change). Please fix!!!

I would have been happy to pay for premium when the app functioned like it did before, maybe 1-2 years ago. It was full of great features and info. Now it's not very useful. I used to be able to get incredible weather info that was great for planning. Now I can't even get a fraction of that. The menus and UI are junk. Now it removes the forecast and location if u try to add or remove layers, etc. Now u have to close everything to change a feature and then go back with each changed setting.
