I have taken some intermediate Java and beginner Python before, so I figured this could help me brush up. This app has two major problems: poor coding practices and questions which are stupidly easy. Variables and classes are often named things like "x" or "A" or "obj," which is an instant red flag. It's also not practical to learn, as there's no challenge involved at all. This app really needs more problems where the user has to actually write out more than one word of code.

They really need to come up with a better method of replenishing hearts. Very frustrating to have to wait, I almost never remember to do a lesson later on in the day because other things require my attention. Duolingo's system is similar on the free model but has the massive benefit of letting you review for hearts which lets you jump right back into lessons if you allot a specific amount of time in the day. Am now looking for another app to learn from while I decide which is worth my $$.

I really like the app, it explains everything well and it's even fun to see how I can littlerly create stuff now. The only issue for me would be the hearts, I understand that they are all easy questions but sometimes you ask more difficult ones about things you may have not covered as much as other things. It's cheap yes but I don't have a source of income or card(I'm 15). Still a really good app though.

Fun to learn, but frustrating that you can't always correct a mistake, as the system keeps giving you the same error you just fixed. Ooh, I forgot the colon? Let me add it! "Forgot colon" STFU

very help full app, but there there are certain things locked behind a pay wall. For example, you can't see the existing codes after math or build your own code in some instances

Goes from good to terrible quite quickly. The initial questions are easy and really repetitively cement the ideas in your head, for instance by asking you to verify the syntax of the print function, asking you to confirm what a code would output etc. I liked this and it spent lots of time on basic concepts which I was fine with as I wanted to replace doomscrolling with being productive. As soon as the content gets more complicated the less repetitive it became however, and so I learn less.

I see potential, but I also notice a problem which may be a personal problem that I'll try to solve in order to change the rating to something more ideal. Like 4 star; if it works it works
