App works perfect. Great and easy to use. However one star because it seems to log me out every week or two which is just extremely annoying. Going back to a remote for now because this app is hopeless when you need it.

Very unreliable service. Takes a lot of attempts to successfully connect to air conditioner and then at the end it loses connection with the device just when you need it.

Pairing never works. Instructions for connecting device are very confusing. I couldn't connect my AC. Wifi hotspot doesn't show after resetting it on the device as described no matter anything. Worst product I used. I will never buy another Gree garbage.

Basically garbage. The app UI is terrible, and the concept of having to select a "region" is totally unnecessary. More importantly though, the AC seems to disappear after a few days, even though the unit itself thinks it's on wifi and the Wi-Fi network is working fine. Then you have to go back through the clumsy pairing process to reset everything. Horrible low quality software and they don't seem to be making it any better over the past year or two.

The device keeps unpairing from there me to time. When I try to pair or connect to the WiFi again, it shows a generic error messages although I followed the guide and reset everything correctly and entered my WiFi details correctly as well.

The app is not working! The connected device responds for the first few minutes and than it says that internet connection is bad, although all other devices connected to that wifi are working perfectly.

This was difficult to set up, partly because the manual is out of date. It's also a badly-written manual. One key function that I can't program is to schedule temperature changes. You can schedule the units to go on and off, but in freezing weather, that's not exactly a great idea. I have analog thermostats with more program features.
