Hit and miss. Crowd sourced content means there's some real rubbish. The lack of people rating content means you can't rely on a 5 star rating. Often there's only 1 rating, probably the uploader. They upload wildly incorrect chords and leave comments like 'my first tab, probably got most of it, you can work out the rest' Site can be unbelievably slow. Its not my network or gear as other sites run fine while Guitar Tab snoozes away. What a surprise, the ads load quickly, while tabs are so slooow

Awesome app that I literally used to teach myself guitar last 4-5 years. No excessive ads. Stable. Large library. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is it's lack of certain older tunes (prewar) but it's user libraries and many people want popular music in lieu of original 1920's versions and I'm a finger-picker so tabs are great. Many advanced tabs and chords. I have never uploaded gp files so maybe my rating will change if I ever do. As for the app, download it!

I absolutely love this app. it has helped me learn so many new songs. I'm really a beginner and I love that it has easy chord versions of songs .. I suggest this app to all my friends who play and they all love it too.. but be careful some tabs and lyrics are a little off but that's because it's written by normal people with thier own interpretation and version of songs.. so try some of them out too ya just might like em

I love this app! It has the smoothest scrolling of any GPX reader I have found yet. The library of tabs to choose from is huge! The only thing I wish it had was rhythmic note stems in the tablature when reading the GPX files. I usually turn off the sheet music to make more room on my screen, but without the sheet music there is no indication in the tablature of what the rhythm duration should be. Is there any way that you can add rhythmic stems to the tablature only view in the GPX reader?

GuitarTab is fantastic!! I've only recently started using it as my go-to source for chords and lyrics. I haven't yet come across a song I was searching for where GT yielded no results; several with more than one version available. I really dig it, and hopefully you will as well! A great free app. Much better than the free version of Ultimate Guitar. You can at least actually view GuitarPro tabs, etc. A little limited on the selection of tabs available, but, like I said, you can at least view the GuitarPro tabs. Also never had this app crash on me. Solidly developed . Thanks!
