2nd star for potential. Initially it worked fine. Now it disconnects several times on my rather short ride (15 miles). It could be a great product. I hope they fix it with an update soon. Will update my rating when they fix the problem.

The Varia app does not support split screen. That would be a nice feature so we could use Google maps and Varia app. I do not want to use cadenza or rwgps app . Thank you in advance.

Good App for Varia devices. Lacks one important feature: in app volume control. For alerts it uses the Media volume setting, therefore it is not possible to turn it louder than the Music.

It excellent when it works, but too often loses connection to the device - especially after recent updates. FWIW, for now the RideWithGPS app is very noticeably more reliable was far as maintaining the connection goes.

Cannot use the app without activating the GPS on my mobile . This is not an environment friendly policy and not efficient at all. I wonder how the radar behaves if i ride in a tunnel all the time. No GPS signal in the tunnel. What are you going to do Garmin? Why can't you just give the user "relative speeds" like +20km/h and i'll just add that to my current speedometer?

Sometimes the sound notifications just stop working. Lack of "road clear" sound notification like in Ride With GPS app is a HUGE disadvantage. Also, will be a good feature to control light on/off. Recommend to use Ride With Gps app, much better than the Varia app

Works pretty well with my RTL515 and my Android phone. Would like more sound and alert options and would love it had split screen support like many of my apps so I could have it and my mapping/routing app showing at the same time.

Screen burn-in! Two vertical white lines from the app UI remain on my phone after using the app for about an 2 hours. Luckily they faded away after 24 hours. Please fix this Garmin! Add some random movement to the UI elements or let the screen sleep when the radar doesn't detect anything.

Great to have radar and video on one unit now. Interface for downloading video is a little clunky. A lot could be taken from the Garmin Dashcam interface for viewing and trimming clips. Other than that, I love it
