Tested this out today on one of my foraging trips. I was able to mark everything I found very easily, take photos on the spot within the app, and immediately save my locations. A nice bonus is that the developer allows you to test out premium features for a week. I ended up buying the app, not because it looks slick or because it uses material design, but because it works very well. One thing I'd like to see added is simple icons such as plants, trees & other such natural landmarks.

It is a great app, in overrall. I've used it for plotting a strategic map, and so far the experience is far nicer than I've expected. You can create multiple folders to store markers that you have plotted, eg. according to countries. There are many choices for marker icons and their colors, unlike most other apps which have few, thus providing users a wide range of symbols for any repersentation on the map. Most importantly, annoying ads don't usually pop up when you're using the app.

I'm still getting used to it .. but I'm trying to make my own historical map of my town with hundreds of photos I've gathered from over the decades. I love that you can move the marker to very specific spots, color code them - and the best most important is that you can attach photos. I would love to chat with the developer to figure out out how to best encourage others to get this app and then download my map file so others can go on this "tour" I'm building.

This is a brilliant app for marking points or highlighting areas on the world map. The UI is simple and clean yet provides so many more options for marking than you'd expect. One thing I personally would like to see is clearer border lines on the hybrid map (google's sattelite map with location markings) but since you can easily swap between maps from different sources it's just a QOL thing and not an issue. Very highly recommended!

Switched to Map Marker from a premium-rate routing app for cycle courier work. With the exception of not having route optimisation (which I can do in my head now I know the area better), Map Marker is better on almost every count. I love the different pin shapes and colours, adding details on pins is simple and very flexible, the address search is pretty good and extra engines can be added, and there are almost no limitations in the free version! Top app.

This app is awesome! We are on the hunt for a family RV and we were overwhelmed by locations, descriptions, prices, etc and now, we can see them on a map, i made each price range a different color and it works great! I love that i can add photos!! However.... I'm trying to figure out how i can share this info with my husband if he also has the app.....

Been using this app for years now. Hundreds of places marked to find again later for vacations, runs, road trips, memories, work infrastructure and more. All locations have moved seamlessly from phone to phone to tablet to phone through Google drive integration for years, and works just as well offline. I couldn't be more confident that this IS the application your looking for.
