Needs much improvement in user interface. The font sizes are limited, I find even the biggest one hard to read. If a notification catches your eye & you want to read that by clicking the same, you aren't led to that news but to the custom page where you often cannot find that particular item. The developer replied on 19/10/2020 claiming that notification issue had been fixed, but the issue persists as before till date (30/10/20).

I am experiencing an issue with the app user interface, the moment I click on an article to read, the screen will go blank, there will be no headline and picture of the article, but if I slide down, only half content of the article will display, it's so irritating. I tried resolving this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling but it was of no use, so please kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible.(I am a premium subsciber)

This possibly has to be the worst app I have ever installed. It's full of ads and bugs, while I understand the need to serve ads for a free app, the way ads are bombarded at the user makes it impossible to read anything. The sheer number of clickbait suggestions is mind boggling, removing it was another issue. Go ahead and try the app for yourself, do not trust my review, find out on your own how frustrating it is. It's free yes, but it's totally not worth your time.

I have always been the fan of Hindu newspaper. Specially the editorial and brief section. But some of these are not free in the APP version. The contents have always been great and are properly written. Since today, app is not able to load. It is getting stuck while opening. Even though i am getting new notifications but still not able to open the app. I have tried reinstalling multiple times.

I use this app every day. I find the mobile app better than their online website. The interface is user friendly. But recently the app has been showing ever large number of ads. The ads pop out everywhere. Your reading is hampered as most ads automatically take you to certain websites and Google play store. Sometimes inappropriate ads too pop up. The initial loading time is also substantial.

I have paid membership to this paper. The new interface is very delightful, but the volume of new coverage and updates needs to be greatly increased. The quality of articles is very good. E-paper is really wonderful. Edit: Audio of news items can be created as another app, an mp3 player, containing news in the form of playlists. This is very useful while commuting and to lessen eye strain. Currently, we have to manually change news items in order to listen to a news item.

Hi, I was using Samsung A7 (2016) previously and the App was working fine. I recently started using One Plus 6. Since the day I installed it on One Plus 6, I do not get the news alerts/ notifications for breaking news. My Notification settings are turned on already. Still I don't get the notifications for breaking news on my phone. Please look into it and help me with a possible solution.

Earlier I had asked for a single reason as to "why I should prefer the app over a webpage?" Dev replied and asked me to try the latest version of Feb'15. But ain't impressed at all. The app comes nowhere near to what other news apps, like NYTimes. Features like full screen, less interruptive ads, nice combination of color and fonts. Continuing with the webpage; it's better. Sorry.

since i purchased subscription, the app seems to have stopped functioning properly. the home page has no stories...blank. Everytime asking for login and your preference details. it's so annoying. Seems like Ease of access is wiped off post subscription! Now i installed an update, the app says it can't access Internet but constantly throwing notifications in popups. If there would have been 0 star option to rate, i will go for that only.
