I've used Swarm for years on iphone, but just recently changed to Android and Swarm is definitely not the same. Every single time I use the app, it bugs me twice to allow for constant location tracking. I'm ready to find a replacement, this is not acceptable.

for the most part I like this app however I have a few suggestions for example why it is if I forget to check into the cinema then go to it i then have the option of choosing the film i saw when i check it. however when I check in otherwise there is no option for a film choice (at least on android). it would also be amazing when checking in a theater if it gave the option of section what play / performance you might be seeing.

Honestly, it gets boring. I don't even know why am I still using this app haha maybe because I've been using it since it was Foursquare. Like the other feedbacks, it only harvests data. NOTHING ELSE ENJOYABLE. I can't share my profile to my friends on other platform so I could add them. I don't know the point of the coins either. I think very soon, I'd be saying goodbye to my account.

Overall a lot of bugs and error like i cant change my picture !,, And when 8 switch my device to arabic language its impossible to use the app because everytging is going crazy

Hostile permissions behaviour. Since a recent update the app constantly asks me to change my location permission from when using app to all the time. Checking in first makes the user click through a notice about this. Every time ... This is a dark pattern. If it's not changed back I'll be deleting the app.

The app is basically abandoned at this point. No point for the coins, no new stickers, stuck in a state it was in 5 years ago. And another star minus: it constantly nags for all-time location access for some reason. With every single check-in.

The app is great, but if you can add two things that would be better: 1- add a laughing emotion. Instead of having just the❤️ having that alone makes it a bit formal. 2- videos, not long just like a minute or less. We just had cirque du soliel in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever, it wouldve been great to post some vids at the show. Path has closed down, and many of it former users are switching to swarm now, (middle eastern people) we use to love the things path provided. Dont be them, but be more creative. But at the end, its still a great app.

What happened to the option to look at past check-ins on the same date in past years? Needs check-in offline for Android. *Changed rating from 2 to 4 because the "scroll down memory lane" is working! Still needs offline check ins for Android. Not every awesome place I want to share with my friends has internet access.

the fact that media volume doesnt control the coin noise, and is instead connected to ringer volume is crazy. otherwise love the app but really would like to keep my ringer on while using this. Edit 6 months later - still True.
