I would attach screenshots if I could. They send an offer code to use, you try using it, the site tells you "Your order price has changed, please review the updated total amount before checking out." Let me save you the trouble, translation: "We refuse to let you have a discount." I reported to customer service and without checking anything, they simply replied "that code works for a limited number of restaurants." The code isn't the issue, the app is. No one helped complete my order. Useless.

The service and processes are the same as doordash but with not as much variety and also not compatible with doordash credits. But dashpass benefits are compatible if you're paying on the same card at least. There isn't any noticeable quality difference in delivery times compared to doordash, but I haven't had a bad experience either. I'm hoping there will be more restaurant selections soon.

not sure what's happened over there but it's gone seriously downhill. placed an order that was in progress for over 30mins with a delivery window of 10-15 mins longer when the order suddenly shows as canceled. no explanation, no response to inquiry about this. completely unprofessional. Update 2/19/20: continues to take far longer than the original estimated time (sometimes close to an hr). Also, noticed a huge markup on individual restaurant items when compared to grubhub...very disappointing.

Even before covid-19 u have had many problems with orders not being received, issues placing the order, drivers never arriving or orders being cancelled by the restaurant with no explanation. As a person in the industry I find it frustrating that these problems persist and yet such a high service fee is charged to the customer and the restaurant. I want this app to do better, be better for what you often charge

Excited About The Apocalypse
In the past week I have placed three orders through this app. Every single time I was missing MULTIPLE items from each order-- these "dashers" don't even bother to check your ticket for accuracy. The first two times I was compensated with money back for those items. This time I literally tried to bribe the dasher to just CHECK THE DAMN TICKET and of course, nope. Missing three items out of 8. When I attempted to contact the app to fix this I was treated rudely, and not compensated. Do not use.

Caviar used to be a pretty good food delivery service, if somewhat pricey. But the last five times I've ordered food over the last month or so (in San Francisco), it's been constant delays. I never got my food even close to on time (e.g. an hour over the original estimate), and ended up cancelling on multiple occasions and using someone else. I have stopped using them entirely. Really disappointing service.

Awful, never again. Hour and a half and delivery time keeps going up. I'm only 5 blocks away on NYC. It's a shame because I was ordering from my fav restaurant but couldn't come pick it up. Had to call restaurant to cancel order. What's the point of offering a delivery service Caviar if you have to wait extreme times. I will let everyone know to avoid at all costs.

Overral the app works ok, but the pricing is misleading. Prices for items that have different sizes, ie. pizza aren't reflected until you get to the checkout so you have no idea how much food costs until you are finished. I have a few problems with the service itself. Delivery times are grossly underestimated and every single time the food is cold by the time it gets to me. Drivers don't seem to have insulated bags or do not use them. Fees are also much higher then similar apps.

For my last delivery, the time estimate progressed as if it was on time, and then held on "1-2 minutes" for an hour. Support then said they couldn't find a driver so I cancelled it. I know order delays are out of their control, but this is extremely dishonest of them. It's not right to trick people into waiting "just a little bit longer." However, in the queue for the help, my number frequently went up a bit before going back down. Up? In a queue? The backend of this app could just be garbage.
