Bot sending me a promotional message EVERY DAY! App is garbage in terms of stability, and the situation has been the same for years. I have a feeling InterNations platform is a "least effort" or some volunteering work done for the resume.

Bad Customer Service and Subscription Terms To be honest I haven't had the chance to use the app or website fully since the COVID began, however what I can tell you is that if you forget to disable the auto renew function there is no going back, and they will charge you another full year. In the cases of most other companies with these sorts of policies,they are more flexible if you explain your situation. Internations are not, and demand payment for another year of unused services.

InterNations is a great app just by its concept so it basic purpose, which is to connect international people, is very well achieved. The app just misses some advanced features to interact more fluently with other members, like direct replies in forums or groups chat, reaction emojis to posts and comments and some other things like that.

I am using Android device and just after installation app was working perfectly, but after one month, and couple of updates it takes too long to open it, I got notification that I have message, but can't see it in app, I can't see list of participants appropriately, and I need to close and open app again to be able to update it.

They are not interested in helping expats acclimatise to life in a new country, they are just looking for your money. DO NOT JOIN THIS MEMBERSHIP - IT'S A SCAM Signed up to what I thought was a year of membership, ended up not using it. Turns out there is smallprint in their Ts&Cs where it automatically renews for another year unless you actively cancel it. Contacted customer service to explain the issue, they hounded me with debt collection notices until I paid for another year of membership they know I will not use. If they check their records, I have clearly not been using their product. Happy to share screenshots from customer service department, they were rude, offensive and thoroughly unpleasant. Very unethical. Posting my experiences to hopefully prevent others from going through this horrible ordeal when trying to build a life in another country.

The new interface is HORRIBLE. Extremely slow, doesn't open features easily. Difficult access to all Apps features. Very bad and I do recommend to get back to old version.

I definitely recommend this app! People from all over the world can be in touch with each other and share interests and best of all it makes them become as a family. However, if you guys could make this more accessible for all, it would be just better... ( I mean the notions of "Albatross " and "basic members"...)

Please, it's been months now that I'm complaining about not being able to access to my InterNations via the app and via internet. The app keep closing. I have a lot of messages to answer and I can't answer to none of them. Why do you let me in that wrong situation? It's been months! I'm still receiving all the notification and the newsletter by mail but what do you want me to do with that if I can't even open the app???
