Stay Out of the House has graphics like a game produced about 30 years ago, everything appears old and annoyingly blurry. However, this is Puppet Combo’s typical design for their horror games. The blurry image, sometimes with scratches across the screen, immediately gave us a creepy feeling and fear that something terrible was about to happen.

Along with eye-catching graphics, it is indispensable to have an equally painful sound platform. Throughout the game, you will hardly hear any background music, just extremely annoying buzzing noises in your headphones. The whole game is silent, but during scary scenes, you will still clearly hear the character’s gasps or screams. This combo of both visual and auditory destruction really pushes the game to its horror climax.

At the beginning of the game, she wakes up in a car, where she is with her friend Brendan. After driving for a while, the guy stopped in front of the convenience store and she continued to fall asleep. When she woke up, she couldn’t find Brendan. She started to get up and search around that deserted place when she was knocked unconscious by a man dressed like a butcher. When she woke up again, she was imprisoned in a dark cellar that appeared to be the butcher’s home. At this point the game officially begins.
