Edit - disappointed that having reached the next island I've got to go through the whole process of upgrading troops again. Time to delete as its just tedious now. Okay, I enjoy this game, but what really annoys me is you have 4 ballistas, and when you fire them they all shoot the same enemy unit. 4 ballistas should hit 4 enemy units, surely???

I bought ad free so I could use auto battle, so yay no more ads. Oh except the auto battle gets stopped on ever level ending in 2 to give me a pop-up to buy gems for faster development. This is an ad. I payed you to not interrupt my game, please don't interrupt it. The game is cute, but has a lack of actual things to do in game. Stop interrupting after ad removal and get a star.

Ultimately, it is fun, but I don't think the old medieval man yelling at me to buy a starter pack for a mobile game is very historically accurate. It kind of feels too much like a cash grab. Also, the game is somewhat rough getting started, but given some time, it gets more bearable after a while. My advice? Just don't spend any money, and you will feel much better once you eventually uninstall this game.

forced to regularly watch ads for no reward. uninstalled because after last outpost conquer attempt - beat the defenses and forced to watch a 30 second unskippable ad. closed the app and reopened - game treated it like a loss, out the gold spent on army and outpost unconquered. the gameplay loop isn't that interesting to stomach watching pointless ads for hundreds of matches.

Love the concept, good play for first island but very repetitive. Enjoyed the game though there are excessive ads after the first 100 waves. Once i completed the first island i found out you basically start all over again on the next island. Very disheartening especially as its just the same troops and buildings. Would be good to keep some levelled unitd and add in more variety.

Unengaging and largely dull. It's fun to watch your kingdom grow for a few hours before you realize there's really just not that much to do here.

not bad, it's got some ads but by far a lot less and you can click out of them so much faster than most other apps of this type. I like it, it's a game that I pick up continuously but also it's got some good bugs I think they might fix later on but help you when you figure them out. Overall I'd say it's worth downloading. But you do finish it pretty quickly if you play it every day

I really liked this game! However, like many of the other comments...WAY TOO MANY ADS. You do the ad for auto battle...completely useless because you have to close and ad every 30 seconds anyways. They do have a no ads package for a good price that I was tempted to buy, but I was so frustrated I just ended up deleting the game.

Fun game, but after a while of playing i felt like it was just very repetitive and the game doesn't throw anything new at you. there are too many ads, I'm cool about having the option to go idle for half an hour by watching one ad, but it doesn't really work if the game throws in more ads that you need to close for the game to go on, which means you cannot really idle 1/2 hour after one ad.
