Elden Ring's Most Notable Player Faced 6-Month Ban

Elden Ring has placed a six-month ban on its most renowned player, Klein Tsuboi, famously known as Let Me Solo Her. Tsuboi recently shared that his ban is set to be lifted soon.

True to his nickname, Let Me Solo Her gained widespread recognition by assisting countless players in defeating Malenia, one of the most challenging bosses in the game. As of late February 2024, he estimates that he has helped defeat her between 6,000 and 7,000 times.

The Ban Resulted from a Lighthearted Mod

Unfortunately for Tsuboi, his impressive record took a hit when his main account was banned shortly after he reached this milestone. He revealed in a recent tweet that his ban was issued in late April 2024, confirming that he would be "a free man(jar)" by the end of October.

Reflecting on the situation, Let Me Solo Her explained that the ban resulted from using a mod that introduced Fortnite dances into Elden Ring's gesture menu. He employed this whimsical mod to add some flair to the gameplay videos he created after rising to fame. Following the ban, Tsuboi shifted his focus to the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree, using an alternate account to help players take on the formidable Messmer the Impaler.

Understanding Elden Ring’s Ban System

It’s important to note that bans in Elden Ring don’t completely prevent players from exploring the Lands Between in offline mode. While they don’t disable online play, they do limit players to a single server populated solely by those who have used modified versions of the game. It remains unclear how much time Let Me Solo Her spent on his main account during the ban.

Despite his initial intention to step back from assisting with Malenia after the ban, his recent tweet hints that he is eager to dive back into action. It seems that Let Me Solo Her is ready to resume his adventures and help players conquer their challenges once again.
