GTA Online Halloween Event: Complete Guide to UFO Sightseeing Locations

This Halloween, Rockstar Games has introduced an exciting UFO sighting event as part of the 2024 Halloween update. Players can hunt for UFOs scattered throughout Los Santos and Blaine County during their game sessions.

UFO Sightings

The UFOs will be visible from 10 PM to 4 AM in-game time, accessible in both public and invite-only sessions. However, there's a five-minute cooldown after joining or starting a new session before UFOs will appear.

To earn in-game cash and RP, simply take a picture of a UFO using your phone and send it to Omega. Be cautious—getting too close will cause the UFO to vanish. If you're in a vehicle and approach it closely, your engine will shut off and the UFO will disappear. If you miss your chance to snap a photo, just switch to a new session and wait five minutes for another chance.

For every successful photo submission, you'll earn $15,000 and 1,000 RP. There are 25 UFOs to capture across the game world, plus an additional Stealth UFO offering extra rewards. After photographing all 25 UFOs, you'll receive a bonus of $100,000 and unlock three variants of the “Believe Cap.”

Abduction Mechanics

During the event’s final phase, there’s a chance to get abducted by a UFO, which unlocks two variants of the “UFO Boxer Shorts” and a mysterious “???” Special Top. This special top was previously rumored to be a teaser for GTA 6 after being discovered in the game files.

UFO Event Schedule

The event spans the entire month of October, with specific days designated for each UFO sighting. The first UFO, labeled “1,” appears on October 15, 2024. For successful sightings, refer to our UFO location map and plan to be at the specified spot at 10 PM after spending at least five minutes in the session.

A common mistake players make is arriving right after joining a session and wondering why the UFO doesn’t show up. Be sure to allow enough time!

The Stealth UFO, marked with a red “9,” will only spawn on October 23, 2024, at the same location as UFO 8. UFOs marked with an asterisk (*) indicate they are your last chance to capture them. If you miss these UFOs on their designated days, they won't reappear.

UFO Sightseeing Locations

Here’s a list of all UFO spawn locations along with their corresponding dates. Make sure to arrive at least five minutes into your session during the designated hours to spot the UFOs.

Stealth UFO

The Stealth UFO will appear on October 23, the same day as UFO 9, at its designated location.

Abduction Details

On designated abduction days, walking into a UFO’s light beam may trigger an abduction sequence. There’s a 50% chance of waking up in a random location—either without your clothes or inside the bunker at Fort Zancudo. This year, the chance of waking up in the bunker has increased from 25% to 50%.

Upon waking in the bunker, grab the crowbar from the operating table to access a crate in the third room, which contains “The Shocker” melee weapon. If you’ve previously found this weapon, looting the crate again will yield $25,000 and 1,000 RP.

Bunker Dynamics

The bunker features several rooms, each with unique symbols. You'll need to pull levers in the correct order to escape. Failing to do so three times activates a security alarm, knocking you out and relocating you to a random spot.

Correct Lever Combination

The order of the levers is randomly generated each time. To determine the correct sequence, observe the symbols in each room:

- Operating Room: Count TVs with the globe symbol.

- Military Crate Room: Count crates with the “four circles” logo.

- DNA Strand Room: Check for weapons with the room’s logo.

- Star Burst Room: Count laptops displaying the room’s logo.

Follow this sequence to pull the levers correctly and access the elevator for your escape.
