Blizzard is marking the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft with a special sale on select game services, coinciding with the release of Patch 11.0.5 and its anniversary event. From now until October 31, players can enjoy up to 30% off on various services—perfect for those eager to explore the expanded Dracthyr class options introduced in the latest update.
With Patch 11.0.5 now live, World of Warcraft kicks off its expansive anniversary event alongside new content, story updates, class adjustments, and gameplay features. One of the major highlights is the long-awaited expansion of class choices for the Dracthyr race. Players can now select from six additional classes—Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior—giving more versatility to the draconic characters.
To celebrate the update, Blizzard is offering a significant sale on several game services. Players can take advantage of 30% off Race, Faction, and Name Changes, all useful for those eager to try out the new Dracthyr classes. Character Transfers are also included in the promotion, allowing players to move their characters across different realms or accounts. However, Character Boosts and Guild Name Changes are not part of the discount.
Until October 31, players can save 30% on the following World of Warcraft services:
- Race Change
- Faction Change
- Name Change
- Character Transfer
For those who need multiple services, Blizzard also offers discounts on bulk purchases, which are already priced lower than buying individual services. Players can stock up on these services for future use without worrying about them expiring, making it an ideal opportunity to prepare for future changes or expansions.
It’s worth noting, however, that there is no option to switch a character’s existing class. If a player wants to explore the newly expanded Dracthyr class options, they will need to create a new character. Additionally, a Faction Change automatically includes a Race Change, which also comes with a free Name Change, so players should avoid purchasing unnecessary services if they are already bundled together.
This isn’t the only sale happening in World of Warcraft right now—players can also enjoy 50% off all transmogs and toys in the Battle.net store. Whether you’re looking to outfit your character with a spooky Halloween costume or pick up a fun toy to trick your friends, these deals are available through October 31.
