Hallow's End has made its annual return to World of Warcraft, and this year, players have the chance to earn the new Patched Harvest Golem transmog set, alongside the Prowler’s Faded Headgear and Shoulder Cape. While some of these cosmetic items can be purchased using Tricky Treats, others are obtainable as drops from the iconic Headless Horseman encounter.

Hallow's End Returns to World of Warcraft with Exciting New Rewards

Last year marked a significant overhaul of Hallow's End, the beloved Halloween event in World of Warcraft. The developers revamped the Headless Horseman battle, introducing new mechanics and optional challenge modes. Players were also treated to several new items, including the Bucket of Morbid Treats off-hand weapon and the Hallow’s End Armor Drakewatcher Manuscript for the Windbourne Velocidrake.

This year, Hallow's End returns to World of Warcraft with fresh rewards. The Patched Harvest Golem transmog set draws inspiration from the scarecrow-like constructs found in zones such as Westfall, allowing players to assemble this ensemble during the event. Additionally, the dusk blue Prowler’s Faded Headgear set is available, featuring both a masked and unmasked version, complemented by a matching shoulder cape.

Players can primarily obtain the Patched Harvest Golem transmog pieces by defeating the Headless Horseman at level 10 and above. On their first daily clear of this encounter, players will receive a piece, which may include the head, pauldrons, pants, gloves, chest, boots, or belt. Additional items, such as the Patched Harvester’s Claw fist weapon and the Patched Harvest Golem’s Post back transmog, can be purchased from Hallow's End vendors using Tricky Treats—an in-game currency earned through Hallow's End event quests, the Headless Horseman fight, and candy buckets found in inns across Azeroth.

While the Patched Harvest Golem set has been well-received by fans, some players expressed disappointment over the timing of its announcement. The new ensemble is a recolored version of the Ragged Harvest Golem set, which was featured in World of Warcraft’s October Trading Post catalogue. Priced at 800 Trader’s Tender, with the matching Harvester’s Claw costing 225, many players who acquired the Trading Post set might have saved their currency for other items had they known a different version would be available during the event.

The 2024 Hallow’s End celebration in World of Warcraft runs from October 25 to November 8, giving players two weeks to earn all the available rewards. Fans should take advantage of this opportunity to collect the new cosmetics, but rest assured that any items missed this year will likely return in future events.
