Black Ops 6 Zombies: Unlock a Free Wonder Weapon on Terminus

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, the Beamsmasher and Ray Gun are two of the most coveted weapons for players tackling the perilous Terminus Island maps. Fortunately, there's a hidden side quest that can grant players a free Wonder Weapon—if luck is on their side.

This particular Easter egg involves shooting down a meteor and claiming the treasures it drops. With Black Ops 6 Zombies packed with secrets, attempting this quest in every game might just lead to obtaining a Beamsmasher or Ray Gun early in the rounds.

While getting a Wonder Weapon from this side quest isn't guaranteed, the odds are certainly in players' favor.

Step 1: Activate the Void Cannon Trap

Begin by navigating through the Mess Hall to reach the Gun Platform. Once there, head to the back of the area to activate the Void Cannon trap, which costs 1,750 Essence. Be cautious to avoid the Void Cannon once activated, as it can suck players in and teleport them randomly. After the trap has completed its cycle, wait for its cooldown period to end and move on to the next round, as this next step can only be completed in a new round.

Step 2: Shoot Electrified Radio Towers with a Deadwire Pack-a-Punched Weapon

After activating the Void Cannon at least once, players should obtain a Pack-a-Punched weapon of their choice and equip it with the Deadwire Ammo Mod using Salvage. This task is easier with a weapon that has a sight, as players must shoot two targets quickly, both located off the map.

The first target is a radio tower just outside the Engineering area, which will be glowing with blue electricity. Use the Deadwire-equipped Pack-a-Punched weapon to shoot this tower; it will surge with electricity and change to red. Immediately afterward, rush to the Storage Area outside of Quick Revive and shoot the second radio tower's blue light to activate it as well.

Step 3: Re-Activate the Void Cannon

Once both radio towers are activated and showing red, progress to the next round and re-activate the Void Cannon. Pay close attention to the beam, as it will launch a meteor from the sky. Note where the meteorite lands, as it should fall to the left of the screen.

Step 4: Head to Castle Rock Island for Free Loot

After witnessing the Void Cannon fire the meteor, it’s time to hop on a boat and sail to the island on the eastern side of the map, known as Castle Rock. Here, players will find a fiery pit from the meteor crash, along with a treasure trove of loot. Attempting this step on higher rounds increases the chances of receiving more valuable rewards, including Salvage, Essence, Ammo Mods, and, of course, a free Wonder Weapon.

If players do not receive a Wonder Weapon from the meteor Easter egg, solo players can save their game and quit on the round they completed the quest. This way, they can try the method again in hopes of better luck next time.
