The much-anticipated Festival of the Lost event has made its annual return to Destiny 2, bringing with it exciting new features including a legendary weapon, fresh ornament sets, and a host of exclusive rewards. This Halloween-themed celebration invites players to don festive masks and tackle limited-time challenges to earn unique in-game items.

Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost Event Returns

Every Tuesday, Destiny 2 undergoes a weekly reset, refreshing missions, challenges, and rewards. With the October 29 update, this tradition continues in Destiny 2 Episode: Revenant, featuring the addition of The Lightblade Nightfall strike with double rewards and new challenges. This update also heralds the return of the Festival of the Lost, offering players plenty of content to engage with until November 19.

The Festival of the Lost event introduces Haunted Sectors, a collaborative playlist where Guardians unite to combat swarms of Headless Ones. Players can collect Candy, weapons, Eerie Engrams, and Manifested Pages as they progress. Candy can be exchanged for exclusive rewards, such as masks and focused weapons, including the newly introduced legendary heavy burst Arc shotgun, Arcane Embrace. Eerie Engrams provide a range of rewards when opened, or they can be focused into Exotic armor and Festival of the Lost weapons. For those looking to maximize their Eerie Engram farming, playing Expert Haunted Sectors increases the likelihood of obtaining additional Eerie Engrams.
