Used to be great & simple. Now the UI/UX is ALWAYS constantly changing, that either it's buggy or the UX just doesn't make sense when you're trying to start or end a fast, or when trying to edit a start/end time. STOP CHANGING THINGS. MAKE IT WORK & THEN LEAVE IT ALONE. if things don't get fixed within the next couple months, will probably switch over to a different fasting app bc I am incredibly irritated at this point.

Update: May 14 2021. Continue to have increasingly worse issues with it forgetting my fast. Start times arbitrarily changing. Fasts ending without any input. I have the program installed on an iPad and my Android phone and it cannot sync. Sometimes when they end a fast and exit out and then re-enter the program the fast is still in progress. They really needs to be some cleanup of these bugs.

Their updates keep breaking the app more and more. I regret buying the premium version because the next update made the app nonfunctional in many spots and it's buggy wherever it does kinda work. You sometimes have to start/end your fast twice for it to register. It tells you to click buttons that don't exist. The fasting plan function can't be accessed because the button doesn't show up anymore. It's crazy how this got through quality control.

This is just a timer and not even a very good timer (sometimes it forgets that you stopped or started it). It's also just another thing for you to remember to do. You have to click start or end fast. If you forget, you'll be going in and editing the time retrospectively. Ultimately, what's the point. If you're intermittently fasting, you probably are doing it based on the time. You're far better off to just set an alarm on your phone. 2 stars for having some good info.

I've been using this app for a year or so and it's been lovely. But this latest update makes it completely useless. There's no indication of it in app, but the custom fasting timer is now a paid feature, when it's always been free. This means the longest fast you can track without paying is 36 hours. Barely long enough to reach ketosis. It's a shame because the UI is nice and I've liked this app a lot, but I guess I have to find an alternative.

Beautiful UI, Fasting timer is nice but other apps have it as well. I found the app to be buggy, for example I would set up a 20 hour fast and the app would say "get ready for your 11-hour fast". After starting a fast let's say at 7:00 p.m. I would still receive a notification at 8:00 p.m. to get ready to begin my fast. Sometimes when trying to set the schedule you would make an adjustment to time and it would revert back to default and you would have to enter it again.

The free version is a great basic app that helps keep you honest about the start and end times of your fasts. My two complaints are these: 1) Anytime I try to upgrade to the paid version, I get an error message that I am offline and can't get access. This seems to be a pretty big roadblock if the creators of the app ever hope to make any money on this. And 2) the notifications about being halfway done with my fast, only an hour to go, etc, all come at the same time- which is not helpful.

A great app that does exactly what it should do, the info articles with references to scientific research are absolute great and I would love to see more coming, this app makes it easy to follow and stick to a fasting schedule. The only thing I have to complain about is that this app need a little bit of tweaking to work properly with Right-to-left interfaces/language systems.

Usually it's great but it has been super glitchy recently after newer updates, like it doesn't register when I'm already fasting, it doesn't track the fast or I have to restart the app for it to change my goal or it's just weird and hard to use in general. I hope this gets fixed soon, zero has been my fav fasting app for a long time and all the features are great, I wouldn't want to have to switch to another one.
