A recent leak has revealed an exciting new quality-of-life feature for Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 5.2, set to transform how players explore the vast world of Teyvat. As the open-world map has expanded significantly since the game's launch, players have been eagerly requesting improved tools to streamline their exploration efforts.
Chests in Genshin Impact serve as a crucial source for acquiring Primogems, prompting players to actively seek out Luxurious and Precious Chests in each new area. With the introduction of Version 5.0, the rewards for opening Natlan's Luxurious Chests have become even more lucrative, thanks to a substantial increase in the Primogem yield from Shrines of Depths and other elusive Chests. To assist in locating these treasures, players have been relying on Treasure Compasses.
The 4.6 update enhanced Treasure Compasses significantly by marking Chest locations directly on the map. Before this improvement, players had to activate the Compass repeatedly for each Chest, leading to a cumbersome exploration experience. Now, an even more exciting upgrade is on the horizon that is bound to delight many fans.
According to a leak from Blednaya, the Treasure Compass will not only point out Chest locations but will also highlight the positions of Seelies and Timed Challenges on the map in Version 5.2. Similar to the current Chest functionality, players will see an icon directing them to these collectibles. This enhancement will be particularly beneficial for completing achievements that require finding specific numbers of Seelies and Challenges. Moreover, with rumors of an expansion to Natlan's map in Version 5.2, this timely update to the Treasure Compass could not be more welcome.
Exploration in Genshin Impact is a vital source of Primogems, especially for free-to-play players. Completionists also strive for 100% exploration in each region for personal satisfaction. However, it's important to note that a region is marked as fully explored even if there are remaining Chests, Seelies, and Challenges left undiscovered.
While it seems unlikely that HoYoverse will address this issue, the enhanced Treasure Compass will still be a valuable tool for farming Primogems. With characters like Chasca and Ororon debuting in Version 5.2, players will need an ample supply of Primogems to wish for their favorites.
Recently, Genshin Impact introduced Xilonen, a 5-star Geo character who has rapidly gained popularity among fans due to her impressive abilities. Xilonen can significantly lower enemy resistance, making her an excellent support choice in various team setups. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in the latest Archon Quest, which concluded with a cliffhanger regarding The Captain's next actions. As fans await the release of Version 5.2, they are eager to see how the Natlan storyline unfolds.
