Pokémon GO has revealed its upcoming Harvest Festival event, set to kick off on November 7. This celebration of autumn will be one of the first events of the month, bringing a host of exciting bonuses for trainers.
Last year, the inaugural Harvest Festival ran from October 12 to 17 and featured a focus on Grass-type Pokémon. A standout moment was the introduction of Smoliv and its evolutions, allowing trainers to encounter this adorable Paldean creature in the wild as well as through Field Research tasks. The event also showcased a variety of Pokémon like Bellsprout, Flabébé, Bounsweet, and Sunkern. Trainers enjoyed perks such as extended duration for Mossy Lure Modules, new Collection Challenges, and PokeStop Showcases.
This year's Harvest Festival promises to be just as thrilling, starting at 10 AM local time on November 7 and concluding at 8 PM on November 12. A major highlight is the debut of shiny Smoliv, which will be available for the first time. Additionally, trainers will have the chance to find 11 other Pokémon in the wild, including Pumpkaboo in four different sizes. Players can look forward to double Candy for catching Pokémon, an increased chance of encountering shiny Pumpkaboo, and the ability for Mossy Lure Modules to attract Pokémon such as Alolan Exeggutor and Snorlax.
Event Dates:
- Start: Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10 AM
- End: Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 8 PM (local time)

In addition to the main event, trainers can look forward to a new Field Research opportunity, which offers encounters with Smoliv and Pumpkaboo, both with the potential to be shiny. For just $2 USD, a new Paid Research task will reward players with two Mossy Lure Modules, incense, a Lucky Egg, and encounters with Smoliv. Themed Collection Challenges will also be available, providing rewards for collecting Smoliv and Stardust, along with PokeStop Showcases that will let players enter Pokémon associated with the event.
As the Harvest Festival marks the beginning of November's exciting lineup of activities, Pokémon GO players can also anticipate Community Day featuring Mankey on November 10. Two additional Wild Area events are scheduled for November 23-24, one in Fukuoka, Japan, and another open to trainers worldwide. The final month of Pokémon GO's Max Out Season will introduce new raids, Spotlight Hours, and an innovative Max Mondays event, which will focus on battles against Dynamax Pokémon.
